Hi,
Do you have plans to integrate your system to some joomla existing ticketing systems? I.e. to the Freestyle Support?

That would add great value to your product! :)

Hi Alexandre,

The name of the component was in my original post: "Freestyle Support".
The integration could include such as SMS ticket is issued, or when it is answered to, or that ticket can be issued by SMS etc. Basically same that they (or most of the help desk / ticketing systems) have with emailing already.

I hope those give some idea :)

I'm just added this feature in our TODO List. We have already an integration with RSEvent to develop and then we will take a look at Freestyle Support. I will let you know as soon as possible :)

Hi Guys

Has this integration been done - It is something that would make this sms system 125% perfect!

Freestyle Support is a brilliant piece of software and the support by Adam is amazing so if it has or could be done that would be aweome

Hi Mark,

I'm afraid the integration with freestyle support won't be possible at the moment.
They don't have any triggers when a ticket is submitted/updated and AcySMS needs these triggers to be able to know when a message must be created and sent.
Maybe you can contact the Freestyle support to ask them to add these triggers :)

Hi,

A trigger is a feature which allows us to execute actions in the plugin we create.
This is a piece of code which should be included into their component.

Here is an example :
- A ticket is created
- The component use the trigger called "Ticket Submitted"
- AcySMS detects this trigger and detects that the trigger is "Ticket Submitted"
- AcySMS executes the actions corresponding to this trigger.

Hi,

In order to execute actions AcySMS needs to receive a kind of notification from the Freestyle support component.
This notification must be send by the component using a specific line of code however they don't have this in their code.
That's why I said that they don't have any triggers which allows us to execute actions.

The notification code looks like this one :
$dispatcher->trigger('ticketSubmitted');

So we won't be able to execute actions until these lines won't be inserted into their code :(
