Hello,

Maybe a bit of a stupid or strange question, but I made a page with my newsletter archive and I put a little text just above the archive and I can't find out where I wrote it. I wrote it in a form in Joomla! That is the only thing I know. I don't want the text anymore.

Does anybody know what I am talking about and how I can remove the text?

Thank you so much,

Emily

I guess that's your list description?
Simply edit your list and you will be able to modify the description.

If I'm wrong, please add your url so we can see where is the text on your website and give you a better answer.
Please have a look at our official documentation before posting a new message!

If you use AcyMailing, please post a rating and a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Thank you so much! That was it. I am new to this, so I didn't know where to look, thought I looked everywhere!

Could you maybe also tell me how to change the look of the archive? I would like it to be a bit more of nothing instead of the searchbar and the grey bar.

And could you tell me if it is possible to remove the text: AcyMailing Starter 1.1.1, Joomla Newsletter System by Acyba.com?

Or is that to much to ask? Hehe

Thanks, so kind of you to help me!

If you created a menu linked to this page, you can edit your menu and you will see some options to customize the page (show send date column, table headings...)

It's very very easy to remove our signature by using any of our commercial version! ;)

Hahaha,well, I'm making a website for a good cause, Masakhane.
I don't think they have the money to upgrade.

You could donate one ;)

No, but seriously, I can't remove it or change it? I don't mean to be presumptuous or rude or anything.

You said I could change the looks of the archive("show send date column, table headings..."), that worked fine, thx!

Seriously, AcyMailing Starter is GPL so you are allowed to modify any piece of code in it.

But as it's an option we added on our commercial version, I think you understand that I don't want to post on this forum how to hack AcyMailing to remove the powered by!

Hahahah! Sure, I understand. It was worth a try, though.
Is there maybe a way to put a few enters between the archive and the 'powered by' part?
Because now it just looks weird to me. It is so close to the archive...just three or four enters is enough, i guess...

You should do it with CSS then (via FTP).

Edit the AcyMailing CSS file from the directory joomla/components/com_acymailing/css/component_default.css and you should see the line
div.acymailing_footer {
padding-top:10px;
}

That you can replace by
div.acymailing_footer {
padding-top:40px;
}
