Hi, we would like to customize the email with the confirmation link for multilanguage site. So we have created different languages variables and everything works fine except fo a variable that must contains links in HTML format pointing to different pages (IT, EN, etc...)

The issue is relative to the fact that the href parameter needs " and also the translation part is incapsulated with "....".
I've tryed also writing " instead of " in the href but when I save, it automatically converts " with " (also I'm not sure that in output the link will work fine, but not been able to test it)

Is there a solution to my problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I am not sure to understand you issue.
What are you trying to do exactly?
How is your link built?

I try to explain better as possible.

Suppose I want to use a language variable like this:

FOOTER_LINK="<a href="www.mysite.dom/privacy" target="blank">Privacy Policy</a> | <a href="www.mysite.dom/managesubscription" target="blank">Manage subscription</a>"

The problem is that I cannot use >>> " because it will broke the language string for the variable. It's like if the variable becomes this: FOOTER_LINK="<a href=" and the rest becomes errors

I've also tryed to use " instead of " but when I save the language, the sistems automatically convert " to "

I hope I had been able to explain better my issue.

Hi,

Feel free to replace the " by this :
&quot;
This might solve your issue ;)

Sorry but in my previous message i didnt used custom tag for the quot and when I submitted the post it auto-converted it to ".

So as I said in my previous post I already tryed that solution but without success because when I save the custom language it converts quot in "

Hello,

Instead of using:
&quot;
Please use the following so it won't be replaced when saving your language modifications:
"_QQ_"
So you text would be:
FOOTER_LINK="<a href="_QQ_"www.mysite.dom/privacy"_QQ_" target="_QQ_"blank"_QQ_">Privacy Policy</a> | <a href="_QQ_"www.mysite.dom/managesubscription"_QQ_" target="_QQ_"blank"_QQ_">Manage subscription</a>"
