Purchased a template that is based on VirtueMart and included AcyMailing Starter 4.8.1
www.templatemonster.com/virtuemart-templates/53834.html

Joomla shows that AcyMailing 5.5.0 is available as well as updates to Joomla, etc. All updates work with the exception of AcyMailing. Updating AcyMailing installs 5.6.0 despite Joomla showing 5.5.0
All pages of the site then go to 404 Component not found.

There is a google cached page of a defunct site that suggests AcyMailing used to come with a VirtueMart plugin and the plugin is now only available in paid versions. If VirtueMart is the homepage and the AcyMailing plugin is missing you will get the component not found message.

We purchased AcyMailing Essentials and started with a clean install. Installed AcyMailing Essentials installed that. Again received 404 component not found. Downloaded and installed the AcyMailing VirtuMart tag and filter and the VirtueMart checkout subscription plugins. Still receive 404 component not found.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Could you please download AcyMailing from our website (www.acyba.com/member-area.html) then install it on your website and let me know if the problem is still present ?

Are the 404 page present on the front-end or on the backend ?
Could you please provide me with an URL of one of the 404 page you get ?

The 404 was on the front end at mvgshop.premierinternet.com

The latest version linked from the members area installed and worked!

Thank you for your assistance.
