Hi guys!!

I'm just testing this extension and it looks pretty cool to me. I installed the starter version with the plugin for CB in the CB-plugin screen. If a user looks in his profile he doesn't see the mailinglist. When he clicks on the edit profile button then you will see it. I've looked arround but i can't find a way of showing the mailing list in the profiles.

Can you guys help me??

Yes, we didn't develop the standard view as we found it useless.
But if you have a need for it, we will take the time to develop it too.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I should really like this feauture so that my users have one spot where they have a view of all personal thing (registration en newsletters).

So if you have the possibility to develop this i would really love it!

Here is a new version of the CB integration including the subscription view when viewing the profile too.

Please let me know if that both meet your needs.

THIS PLUGIN IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ACYMAILING 1.1.0, only 1.1.1!

I don't think CB supports to simply update the plugin.
So please uninstall the previous one and reinstall this new one via the CB plugin installer.

You can directly upload it via FTP and overwrite the previous plugin if you prefer.

You can do it on the component_default.css file which is in the folder Joomla / components / com_acymailing / css

If you modify the CSS, I recommend you to copy this file and name is differently:
component_my.css and then go on the AcyMailing configuration page and select this file to be loaded on the front-end.
That way, you won't loose your modifications if you update AcyMailing.

Sorry guys i have still one little question. I have one newsletters thats not visible for users. They are forced to be join that newsletter. In the menu link that newsletter is not visible, but in the CB-tab it is visible and you can change the yes/no button. What do i have to do to disable this? :huh:

I hope that it is not too hard for you guys!

You can make it hidden on the CB plugin or simply don't add it on the CB plugin.

Hi John,

I uploaded the revised plug in, but I'm getting the following error in the front end:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method listClass::onlyCurrentLanguage() in D:\hosting\member\berlin80210\FSEM\components\com_comprofiler\plugin\user\plug_acymailingcbplugin\acymailing.php on line 277

Help?

This plugin is only compatible with the new version of AcyMailing.

Please update AcyMailing and the plugin should work properly!

I tried installing the update via FTP and Joomla and both times I get the following error:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in D:\hosting\member\berlin80210\FSEM\libraries\joomla\filesystem\folder.php on line 362

Even using the install via FTP?

It usually takes 3 to 10 seconds to install or update AcyMailing using the FTP method.

If it still does not work, we can do an update directly by adding the files at the right place, it will work properly if you move from AcyMailing 1.1.0 to 1.1.1

FTP gave me the same error - can you please tell me where to physically move the files so it doesn't break the application? Thanks!

If you extract the package, you should have three folders :

->back
->front
->frontlanguage

The content of the folder "back" should be moved to administrator/com_acymailing
The content of the folder "front" should be moved to com_acymailing
The english file from the folder frontlanguage should be moved to the languages/en-GB folder on your website.

Then you should run the url:
w w w .yourownwebsite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_acymailing>ask=update&task=install
to update the module and the plugins.
