So yes, it's back on radar! The two next plugins will be for Kunena and JomSocial.

I gave it a try without success.

Using ACY Business
Joomla 1.5.23

Inserted this tag:
{kunenacontent:|display:posts|icon:noIcon|pCount|authorName|max:5|timeLimit:10000}

Had no result in the 'Send Test' email. Module position was blank.

It seems that selecting the Kunena categories is not being reflected in the tag. Is that the possible issue?

I updated the attachment 2 days after posting the message. You may have used the old archive.

I just tested the current one on a fresh install, and it seems to work fine.

Wow, this is working a treat :)

One thing though, and not sure if it is me configuring wrong :whistle: , I would like to show only the opening post for each topic and not the replies, can this be done?

I installed the new plugin and we're 90% of the way there!

I notice that the article limit (default 5) is not respected. Leaving it at 5 I still get the 7 latest Topics from Kunena.

Otherwise it does seem to be effective.

@doug.buchan: I can not reproduce the bug.
Is the "max" parameter defined to 5 in the tag?
Do you use the latest Kunena version?

My tag is:

So yes, max is defined but I still end up with the 7 latest topics in my newsletter. Not sure why.

I checked the code from Kunena.
I did not find a way it could occure.

Have you another tag below this one ? Maybe the two extra topics come from there…

You can also try to check the raw version of your newsletter to see if the tag is the same (if you use the editor TinyMCE, click the "HTML" button).

I have attached 2 screen shots:

1. Screen of the newsletter tag:

Looking at your screen shot you have 5 topics but the plugin has shown 2 replies

Yup, it's looking like that's the issue. THe replies to the topics are getting mixed in. Basically, I think that means whether you set the plugin to 'Topics' or 'Posts' you get the same results.
