hi i ve got biig problem. On one shared hosting have to www services. Each one has joomalinng enterpise. On each one is set up php mail function. And each one has ability to sbuscribe by visitors But visitors neet to confirm their email. On one service it works on second with similar configuration, confirmation link is not send.
when i ve click in back end send test confirmation linke i v got this error Could not instantiate mail function. Please help !!! could you login on my backend an check what is wrong ? best regards and looking for quick reply

I suppose you use the mailer method "PHP Mail Function".
If so, the bounce e-mail address should be on the same domain as your own domain.
Please delete the bounce e-mail address and try to send a test e-mail from the AcyMailing Configuration page so that we can isolate the problem.
It's a common restriction on shared hosting, the bounce e-mail address can cause this issue.

If I'm wrong about the issue, could you please make sure you can send e-mails with your Joomla website (send password, register confirmation...)

now it is working but tell me i ve set up auto newsletter and put some articles. i ve cliked to generate and system tels me that is no need to generate. But ive put new articles

"No Auto-Newsletter needed to be generated" means that your generate date was still in the future for all your auto-Newsletter.
Please make sure that your auto-newsletter is published and that the next generate date is in the past otherwise the auto-Newsletter won't generate anything until the next generate date is reached.

Hi there - I am haivng the same error message "Could not instantiate mail function. error"

i am also using the php mail function - when i send a test message it works ok but it will not send any test newsletters

You mean a test from the preview screen or a test from the AcyMailing configuration page?

a test from the configuration screen works, but the test from the preview screen (or the actual send) doesnt seem to work - then i get the above error message

* Could you please try again to send a test from the Newsletter preview page but this time send the TEXT version.
* If it works, please try to change your AcyMailing configuration page and select the option "send multiple part : NO" and try to send the HTML version.
* If the text e-mail does not work, then I guess there is something in your subject or in your sender informations which is not accepted by your server. Could you please make sure that there is no special character which could explain the issue?

Apparently it's a problem of configuration or a problem with the Newsletter itself.
So with several tests, we will be able to determine what's going on.

unfortunately none of those steps made any difference as it still wouldn't send in text

however i found that by unselecting the 'add names' option the message works!!!

(might be a bug im not sure)

I just start to using Acymailing (great app) and when I try to send newsletters (280pieces) something went wrong.
The first 199 letter was fine but after that stopped sending.
Error message: [11] Error Sending Message Szeptemberi hírlevél to Cette adresse email est protégée contre les robots des spammeurs, vous devez activer Javascript pour la voir. | Could not instantiate mail function.

I got the same problem, and tried all the different suggestions mentioned in this topic.

But after a lot of trial and error, I found that my subject in the newsletter, was too long

Now it´s working great again
