Seblod plugin - not align well the intro text 9 months 2 weeks ago #62403

Hi to all,
Joomla 3.1.5 / Seblod 3.1.5 / AcyMailing 4.4.1 etc.
I installed AcyMailing Seblod plugin, the last one after this bug fix

I prepared my newsletter on my own template (I modified one of the default ones)
I imported the tags: Article linkable title + Intro Image (resized) + Intro text.

In AcyMailing > Newsletter > Preview / Send: I can check the visualization on small screens like 320x480 - 480x320 and my Seblod Article Intro text seem not to be "aligned well" - see SmallScreen attached image

SmallScreen.jpg

But if I look my Seblod Article Intro text through a resized browser all seem to be Ok - see Browser attached image

Browser.jpg

I checked cleaning up HTML and Removing formatting on my Seblod Article Intro text.
Please, What am I missing ?

Hello,

Is there a <br/>, a <div> or a <p> just after "appuntamento" ? Could you show me a link to this newsletter ?

There is an unbreakable space just after : "dell'anno, fondamentale" so "dell'anno," and "fondamentale" are considered like only one word, so as there is not the place just after "appuntamento", it displays like this.

If you are using a custom template 'media/com_acymailing/plugins/seblod.php', You should write
<?php echo str_replace('&nbsp', ' ', $theIntrotextField); ?>
instead of
<?php echo $theIntrotextField; ?>

If you are using the classical template from the plugin, I will modify it.

Hi Jèrèmy,
sorry, but I'm not able to follow you:

/media/com_acymailing/... there is NO "plugins" folder
maybe you mean:
/plugins/acymailing/seblod/seblod.php ?!?

Why you ask me about template while you give me instructions on modifying Seblod plugin ?
Anyway, I'm using a copy (modified by me on colours and images) of your standard "Notification template".

Have I to download and reinstall the Seblod 3 (tag plugin) ?
PPSS Please, indicate a new Version number and/or put the plugin release Date, or is impossible follow updates!

In fact, there is the possibility to change the plugin template by creating the file 'media/com_acymailing/plugins/seblod.php', but it is not your case so you just have to download the new version of the plugin here : www.acyba.com/en/download/plugins-modules.html#seblod
Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Jèrèmy,
I installed the new Seblod plugin and tested (also visualizing a New Newsletter instead of just the old one).
Something is changed, but still there is spaces and a ";" is added at the begin of Intro text phrases:

I removed the ";", you can re-download the plugin. There is a long space maybe because of the "text-align:justify" in the CSS.

Re: Seblod plugin - not align well the intro text 9 months 2 weeks ago #62458

";" solved, well done Jèrèmy!

About space:

The Seblod Article Intro text code have no "justify":
<p><img style="margin-right: 10px; float: left;" title="Congresso Nazionale AIMFI - CNM" src="images/aimfi.org/Associazione/20140125_Congresso_Nazionale_AIMFI_-_CNM/20140125_Congresso_Nazionale_i.png" alt="Congresso Nazionale AIMFI - CNM" width="300" height="168" />
</p>
<p>&nbsp; <strong>...passaparola...</strong>
</p>
<p>Sabato 25 gennaio 2014 primo appuntamento dell'anno, fondamentale la partecipazione di tutti i Massofisioterapisti! [...]</p>

The Acymailing > Template > Stylesheet: have one "justify":
div,table,p{font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size:12px; text-align:[b]justify[/b]; color:#8c8c8c; margin:0px}
div.info{text-align:center;padding:10px;font-size:11px;color:#a3a3a3;}

@media (max-width:450px){
	table[class=w600], td[class=w600],  table[class=w520], td[class=w520], table[class=w480], td[class=w480], img[class=w600]{ width:100% !important; }
	td[class=w40] { width: 20px !important;}
	td[class=w20] { width: 10px !important;}
	.pict img {max-width:240px; height:auto !important;}
}

@media (min-width:450px) and (max-width:600px){
	table[class=w600], td[class=w600],  table[class=w520], td[class=w520], table[class=w480], td[class=w480], img[class=w600]{ width:100% !important; }
	td[class=w40] { width: 20px !important;}
	td[class=w20] { width: 10px !important;}
	.pict img {max-width:390px;  height:auto !important;}
}
@media (min-width:600px){
	body {width:600px !important; margin:auto !important;}
	.pict img {max-width:480px !important;  height:auto !important;}
}

The Acymailing > Template > individual styling > Style for the article area:
color:#282a2d; text-align:justify; font-size:12px;
Have one "justify".

Removing the two ones the Seblod Article Intro text alignment seem to be solved (Thank you).
Please, I'm not a programmer so I ask you:
1 - Is what I done correct ?
2 - Pease, Is there anything I can do on this simple Template Stylesheet to have it 100% Responsive, resizable (excluding images, logically)

Again Many Thanks for Support!

1. What you've done will work, but it will be applied for all div, table and p. You should rather add this code in order to override the "justify" :
.acymailing_content p{
    text-align:left;
}

2. Our templates are already responsive, did you notice any issue with it ?

Re: Seblod plugin - not align well the intro text 9 months 2 weeks ago #62585

1 - Please, where have I to add that code (file and position) ?
and, in order to averride which "justify" ?!?
Do you mean in case I use a "justify" into a tagged article ?

2 - What I mean is that right now email have a minimum width, so when it is displayed on a 480x320 screen resolution (for ex.) I have to scroll it from left to right to read all content.
Is there a way to have it 100% resizeable, no minimum width (instead the 150px resized image inside) ?

Hello,

1/ You can add that code in Acymailing -> templates, select your template and you should see two tabs : click on "stylesheet" tab, then add the code here.

2/ I can see from your first screenshot that everything seems responsible and when you resized it the width has been reduced... can you highlight the issue please? Provide a screenshot for example and a link to your online version so we can reproduce it.
Please have a look at our official documentation before posting a new message!
