Auto-Newsletters

Description

This screen enables you to manage all your Automatic Newsletters.

An automatic Newsletter enables you to generate a Newsletter at a specified frequency. You can either always send the same article, send only newly created articles, send newly created and modified articles... from one or several sections/categories...

You can sort your Newsletters by any field, search using the "filter" box and directly modify their properties by clicking on the icons.

Toolbar

• Generate : This button enables you to trigger the generation of the Automatic Newsletter. Only Newsletters which should be generated will be generated so this button is only there for testing purpose as the entire generation process is completely automatic (please make sure you created your cron task on the AcyMailing configuration page to enable the automic process!)
• Preview : This button enables you to see a preview of the selected Newsletter. You can select a Newsletter and then click on this button in order to preview it.
• New : Enables you to create a new Automatic Newsletter.
• Edit : Select an automatic newsletter and then click on this button in order to edit its information.
• Delete : Select one or several Automatic Newsletters and click on this button in order to completely delete the Automatic Newsletters.
• Help : This button enables you to turn ON/OFF the help section, this screen will appear or disappear.

Column Headers

• # : An indexing number automatically assigned for ease of reference.

• Checkbox : Check this box to select one or more items. To select all items, check the box in the column heading. After one or more boxes are checked, click on the delete button in order to delete the selected Newsletters or click on the Preview button in order to Preview one Automatic Newsletter.

• Subject : Subject of your Automatic Newsletter.
• Next Generate Date : This field indicates the next time AcyMailing will try to generate a Newsletter.
• Frequency : This field indicates the generation frequency.
• Sender Informations : This field displays the Sender Information of the Newsletter.
• Creator : Creator of the Automatic Newsletter.
• Published : An unpublished Automatic newsletter will never generate a Newsletter. You have to publish your Automatic Newsletter in order to make it work.
• ID : This field indicates the ID of the Automatic Newsletter.

Filters

• The filter caption enables you to easily search through your Automatic Newsletters.
• If you select a list in the dropdown "All Lists", only Newsletters attached to this list will be displayed.
• If you select a creator in the filter dropdown "All Creators", only Newsletters created by this user will be displayed.
