In 2011, AcyMailing moved from version 1.6.0 to our current 3.0.0 version.

One of the most important change of the year was the Joomla 1.6, 1.7 compatibility. We were one of the first developer team to provide the J1.6 compatibility and I'm happy to see that most of the Joomla popular components followed the movement.
You won't be surprised to hear that we will always make sure that Acy works with the upcoming Joomla versions so one of our task in 2012 will be to provide the compatibility with Joomla 2.5.x
In 2011 many features have been developed, I won't list them all here as you can check our changelog for that but the most important were DKIM, a new (and much better...) bounce handling, a profile user history, a front-end user management, access levels, an unsubscribe survey... and many integrations with other Joomla components.

AcyMailing became more and more stable and we are proud to see some of our clients rely on AcyMailing to handled their 3 million+ users...

2012

I can't disclose our full roadmap but I can surely talk about our upcoming version...

In January we will release a new version including list segmentation (directly on the Newsletter-creation, you won't have to execute filters any more or create temporary lists for that), a better e-mail address verification system, a way to automatically send the latest Newsletter when a user subscribes, two new integrations with Kunena and JomSocial...
