The DTRegister plugin seems to be changing my currency into $. Globally is is set to default use "R" and "ZAR" however the plugin seems to be ignoring this.

Please help

Wow indeed you're right, we force to currency to $
It's definitely a bug on our end.

We will fix it asap in the plugin.
For now, you can modify our file plugins/acymailing/dtregister.php and on line 606 add your own currency instead of $.
